Compressed air which come out of from compressed head will carry large and small oil drop,big oil drop can be separated through oil-gas separator tank, but small drop ( the diameter of Suspended oil particles is below 1um) will must filter to pass micron and fibre glass filter media layer of oil separator. Oil small particles through diffusion effect will hold up by filter material,and according to Inertial collision condensation etc principle, make suspended oil small particles in compressed air agglomerate together to form large oil drop. Under the action of gravity,oil drop will flow direction to the bottom of filter and accumulate together. Finally through the oil return pipe, and reflow to the oil return tank. After the separation, the oil content of compressed air is extremely low.Particles in the compressed air intercepted by the media and detained on the media result in the increase of pressure drop. The separator needs to be replaced when the pressure drop is reached during 0.08-0.1Mpa, otherwise the compressor machine will work at higher power cost.
